Curacao : March 11 – 19, 2016

Our destination has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and the diving is simply amazing.

Every dive on Curacao’s reefs is like a treasure hunt, challenging divers to slow down and scout for the small colorful and intricate marine life that’s hidden in nearly every crevice! There’s the world famous Mushroom Forest only minutes from our home away from home. And then the island’s new crown jewel dive site, Watamula. This rare dive site is for advanced divers. The density and variety of the corals on every dive is overwhelming. There are over 80 dive sites and our resort is located smack in the middle of the very best.

Although Willemstad is located almost 5,000 miles from Amsterdam, Holland’s capital, the two are remarkably similar. Both are decorated with narrow, gabled buildings, both have a working canal, both have world class shopping and both brew a mean beer! But, only Willemstad has the world famous “floating bridge”. You can easily spend the entire afternoon sitting at the Vienna Ice Cafe watching the ships go by! Oh, and don’t forget the floating market.

Lions Dive & Beach Resort sits on an idyllic, palm studded private beach that overlooks Curacao famously clear waters and the fringing reef of Curacao’s National Underwater Park. Historic Willemstad is only a 5 minute drive and the well-known Seaquarium & Dolphin Academy are next-door.

For the kids we have a special package of activities planned that will include: Scuba diving, snorkeling, reef ecology and creature id.
